TM Akan Memulakan Ujian Perkhidmatan Mudah-Alih Pada Disember 2015, Pelancaran 2016
“Berkenaan P1, sukacita kami ingin memaklumkan bahawa semuanya berjalan lancar.
TMgo to offer ZTE Blade Qlux 4G LTE smartphone at RM299
Telekom Malaysia (TM) is now quietly offering the ZTE Blade Qlux 4G LTE smartphone at RM299 together with the TMgo sim pack. The prepaid sim pack comes preloaded with 2GB data and free 500MB data every month for 6 months.
Based on official specifications, the ZTE Blade Qlux 4G LTE smartphone supports two 4G LTE bands, including FDD-LTE band 3 (1800Mhz) and TD-LTE band 40 (2300Mhz).
The TMgo network currently runs on the 850Mhz FD-LTE band 5 frequency and it does not offer any voice service at the moment (likely to offer Voice over LTE aka VoLTE in the future).
According to sources close to MalaysianWireless, the ZTE Blade Qlux 4G LTE is a dual sim phone where Telekom Malaysia intends to offer data service on SIM 2 while users could use another Telco (Maxis/Celcom/Digi/UMobile) on SIM 1 (mainly for voice).
Despite the ZTE Blade Qlux 4G LTE does not officially support the TMgo 4G LTE network (on 850Mhz), we believe this phone could have been custom-made by ZTE for TM. However there is also the possibility that P1 4G LTE network is already active on band 40 (TD-LTE 2300Mhz) which is supported on ZTE Blade Qlux 4G LTE.
ZTE Blade Qlux 4G LTE key specifications:
- 4G LTE Network: FDD-LTE band 3 (1800Mhz), TD-LTE band 40 (2300Mhz)
- 3G Network: 900Mhz, 2100Mhz
- 2G
- Dual sim phone
- 4.5″ IPS LCD screen, 480 x 854 pixels
- Android OS, v4.4.4 (KitKat), upgradable to v5.0 (Lollipop)
- Quad-core 1.3Ghz processor, Mediatek MT6732M
- 8GB storage, microSD card up to 32GB
- 1GB RAM
- 8MP rear camera with flash, 5MP front camera
- Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, microUSB v2.0
- Li-Ion 2200 mAh battery
- Black colour
MalaysianWireless is working to obtain more details and will update this post at a later time.
The Telekom Malaysia 4G LTE service for rural areas which is supposedly available only in “underserved areas of the country” is now also available across Klang Valley, including Kuala Lumpur. The self claimed broadband champion company has yet to make any official announcement.
Currently TMgo is offered via prepaid USB dongle and MiFi options, available in a number of cities, outside KL. As an introductory price, TMgo packages are offered at RM121.90 for SIM Pack and a 4G LTE USB Adaptor (Dongle) and RM339.90 for SIM Pack and a 4G LTE Mobile Router (MiFi).
